It all begins with an idea.
I absolutely love any type of project that involves doing something new. Some of my favorite projects have been when I get to learn a new software or work on a new piece of equipment in order to complete a job. Large custom signs often involve using a laser engraver or a vector based CNC software like VCarve in order to truly understand how a final product might look. You could just create the idea I guess and then send it off somewhere else to be converted but, what fun would that be? I absolutely loved learning all about 3D designing while working on these signs. A whole new world of design possibilities opened up as I learned about various material, how they cut or engrave and how they can be layered in order to create the final piece that I had in mind.
